The Movie's Details
Favorite Movie Character and Why: James "Mac" McCord. :) It's actual not that he's Steve Buscemi, but he's sort of a middle-man in his standing at the institute. On one hand he's got a girl, his own life...he could easily turn in Lincoln for associating with him and leaving the underground facility, but he doesn't. He actually feels some compassion for the clones, but doesn't show it. He tries to keep that ego up that defines him, yet he ends up sacrificing his life so two "products" can live. His morals obviously run deeper than the guidelines the workers are supposed to follow, deep down he has ethics and human compassion. which may be why he escapes to the bar on a...regular basis. XD
Starkweather's awesome also, poor guy. He's so oblivious as to what's going on around him until it's too late. He realizes he's never really lived and probably has the desire to do so many things. I guess we're all like that at one point in time.
Least Favorite and why: Hm. Hard to say. I guess Laurent. I just never got into him or what he wanted, once he's all dedicated to his cause, then he just drops it? Nah, didn't work for me, too much of a leap. I would prefer for him to stay focused on the clones or at least have declined earlier in the pursuit. He didn't seem real, nor effectively rounded.
Would you Clone Yourself if you could live forever/fight any disease?: No, definatley not. I like the idea of having one life to live and will live it to the fullest I can. Killing another living thing is wrong, plus two of me? Nuh-uh. I'll take one any day of the week, thank you. :)
What is your opinion on Cloning?: I don't trust it. We're getting way over our heads, as interesting as it may be.
Do you think we should have laws regulating it? Yes. Yes, yes, yes.
Quote a Movie Line. Just for Fun.: "I'd better go. He's taking a dump in a can!"
