The Movie's Details
Favorite Movie Character and Why:(Be DETAILED) My favorite character was Lincoln Six Echo. I felt like I really connected with him. For instance, he's always asking questions and is never satisfied with the answers he gets. I'm like that, too, and I tend to favor character that I can understand.
Least Favorite and why:(See above) My least favorite was probably Tom Lincoln. He amused me, but I just did not like how he was willing to sell out his clone for such selfish reasons. Sure he was dying, but he did it to himself by being a hedonist.
Would you Clone Yourself if you could live forever/fight any disease?: I would never clone myself. I'd rather live a short but amazing life than live forever and feel guilty about causing another human anguish just because I wanted a few extra years to live.
What is your opinion on Cloning? I think cloning the way Merrick did it was wrong. Cloning should NOT exist to benefit mankind, because once you create life, that person has a mind of their own and you cannot take it away just because you happen to be sick. I don't know much about the other reasons cloning would exist, however.
Do you think we should have laws regulating it? Definitely, otherwise it would get far out of hand. There would be people cloning the son that died in a car accident so that they could relive those precious moments with him. People would clone themselves in order to live forever. Elongating one's life has consequences, after all.
Quote a Movie Line. Just for Fun.: "People will do anything to survive. I wanna live and I don't care how." - Lincoln
